Add Q-omics files to the exclusions list of antivirus software to prevent it from being scanned and potentially flagged as a false positive.

Here's how to do it depending on your McAfee product and operating system:

For McAfee on Windows:

Open McAfee: Locate the McAfee icon in your system tray (usually near the clock) and double-click it to open the main application window.

Navigate to Real-Time Scanning: In the newer McAfee interfaces, you might find this under "PC Security" or "My Protection." Look for a section related to "Real-Time Scanning" or "Virus and Spyware Protection." Access Excluded Files: Within the Real-Time Scanning settings, there should be an option for "Excluded Files" or something similar. Click on it.

Add Q-omics files: Click the "Add file" or "+" button. Browse to the location of Q-omics file and select it. Click "Open" or "Add" to add it to the exclusions list.

For McAfee on macOS:

Open McAfee: Open the McAfee application on your Mac.

Go to Real-Time Scanning: You'll usually find this under "Mac Security" or a similar section. Find Excluded Files: Look for the "Excluded Files" option within the Real-Time Scanning settings.

Add Q-omics files: Click the "+" button to add a new exclusion. You might need to enter your Mac's password to make changes. Browse to and select Q-omics files.
